It's November?!?
Already?
Yup.
I bet you are sitting on your couch right now eating leftover candy from the trick or treaters or our scouring through your kid's candy to see what you love and sneaking it out when they're not paying attention.
So Here we are November 1, 2016 and if you're like me you probably already are excited about the holidays. For me it's Christmas. I love Christmas. The fun, family, music, decorating and yes the food. The food... it's so delicious and so filling and SO MUCH bad stuff. A cheat day turns into a cheat week which turns into a cheat month. Wait; can't let that happen. There's so many good foods. I love almost anything with the words "peppermint bark" in it. Sugar cookies are always a staple in my house.
With the holidays here I think we have to take a serious look at what we do with our eating habits. I talk a lot about how important it is to eat healthy options. It's not easy this time of year when everything is coated in candy or other goodies. Heck even my community group's Halloween party food consisted of chips and dips, cookies and brownies, chicken wings and mini pizza poppers. But I digress. Healthy holiday options can be found so I suggest we start looking.
Cutting back on one less eggnog or maybe cut out that extra cookie; but do something.
You can't just eat healthy though you have to get out and work out. Sure it's slowly getting colder and now is as good a time as any to really start to get yourself active. Might I suggest a quick jog or maybe even a few push ups Something. Below you'll find my NOVEMBER CHALLENGE to getting into shape.
With the holidays here and staring at us in the face it's a great time to get yourself prepared for 2017... You know "new year/new me". Might as well get an early start!!
So for the month of November I thought it'd be fun to focus on our push-ups. I'm not a fan of push-ups but you know what I want to get better at them. So below you'll find a little month chart that you can look at and work on.
You may look at the end of the month and think "I could never do that" but guess what... take that T at the end of can't and throw it away. You can do it you just have to try If you know that you struggle with push-ups you can start off with a lower starting number but I challenge you to start with the suggested number!
Good Luck!!!
I know that with your own motivation and with group of supporters/those that cheer you on you can do it!!!
